Homers tray build....lots of pics

Beautiful tray. Would love one with a removable rear rack like I think you mentioned. A canvas cover over that and I think it would be a brilliant work / recreation vehicle. Great work.
Now if anyone has the next set of wining lotto numbers :)

I'll have to draw something up but been thinking about a more versatile rack system when using a canvas cover. Main reason is to be able to use the rack while canvas is on but give it real protection. Probably reinventing the wheel  but here are my thoughts for comment.
1. Front and rear racks, rear removable from tray
2. Rack to have removable pins seen that insert from the top and are locked from beneath so you can put the canvas on then insert the pins.
3. Make removable tailored sections for front and rear that use the pins for location and fixing
4. Example of rear would be a "J" section that would sit on the canvas protecting it from any items that are loaded onto the bar. The "J" would incorporate a high level brake light and reversing camera.
5. Other sections that would hold a roof basket or have extended dropover side profile for a rack mounted annex . Front section could have similar section but with tabs for lights or a light bar etc.
6. If the pins are beefy enough and go into locating sleeves then maybe even a roof top camper could be used.

Have I reinvented the wheel? Comments?

That would be a work of art Crash 8-)

I just noticed that Brett has added the Triton tray to his website and I would assume it will also be the area where he puts the other custom Triton bits and pieces he is looking at.

Might be worth a look for those interested CLICK LINK HERE

Hadn't seen this 'til now. Freakin sensational!

I love my similarly-sized custom alloy tray, which is still holding together very well after 3 years. But I'd kill for a black one of these instead!! :D

Anyone want to buy an ML length alloy tray?

Didn't stop each and every one of you trying to have a crack at it...so popular Joe gave it a shot too I think. I must thank him for at least dividing the attention

Yep he's changed a few things, will put up some pics when it arrives. Don't mean to be a copy cat but white!. Easiest colour to keep clean on the farm.
