Sorry to hear Bud :( Main thing is you walked away and no-one was hurt.

Hope you have a speedy return on your claim and hope to see you back on the tracks soon.

I agree about some of those tracks, just looking at some gives you the shivers.

I had an accident down in Coffs over the weekend and I doubt ill get her back, wasn't a single straight panel and the steering/suspension was a bit out :/ I'm glad we over engineered the crap out of that tray.
Insurance is assessing it and will let me know the outcome soon.
So sorry Mattz, you'll have to wait for the next build unfortunately, they looked truck though :)

Sorry to hear mate. :(
Did you save the switches :?
They do look 8-)

Sorry to hear mate.

It sounds like that tray saved you if it was another rollover mate. These Tritons flatten pretty well from accident photos I've seen

I had a tangle with widowmaker down there in the pouring rain once...was stupid to attempt it in those conditions....probably any conditions really as it is an unforgiving hill being so wide and hard so there are no ruts or banks to hold you if the car tries to turn off camber...or turtle.

An apt name for a hill ;) it's certainly doable if driven right and good conditions...but the consequences of a slight mistake are dire...

One positive point to it is there is a little helipad right at the base for ferrying away the wounded

Coffs Harbour eats cars and parts

Was just curious as I wouldn't mind knowing when it's up for auction as I was considering buying it back, if that was at all possible.

Don't worry Fridgie, photos will come in due time

Parts and/or buggy, was a statutory write off :( seems I really killed it this time.

Well it was hardly a secret but it was booked into buds for a sas next year, so I might just start with a solid axle this time round, thinking gu ute, 4 link the rear and use a 233 diff instead of that monstrosity h260, then lock it, lift it, cage it and buy a wagon to tow it to tuff truck lol

Definitely no need to 4 link the rear and change the diff in the patrol. If you get a coil cab the are the normal patrol diff with factory 4:11s, only the leaf sprung utes have the massive Diff.

There are plenty of them around. I know people that bought gu utes for $15-$20k in good nick (paid $10 for my Gq ute). Don't worry about kms to much. They are good for well over 500k with regular servicing. Hunt around and spend the money on a coil cab. Don't bother with a leafy, they are a completely different chassis so it becomes a pain cause everything is made to suit coil cabs. (Bars, sliders, trays, ect)
