How did the redarc solenoid go? I thought the 2012/13 models need a special solenoid because the alternator was controlled by the ECU.

I've got a red arc in my 2013 and it's all good mate, no dramas with it at all...

So finally after a few years I’m finally building my roof console just a couple photos. Still yet to make the brackets cut the holes for switches and probably the UHF. Need to trim the last piece off from that wicked curve at the front

Just waiting on the dual USB to turn up and I can put this in.
I can also remove my uhf to cut the hole for that.
Anyone know where I can get some fake leather smooth matte black finish

Had another short afternoon back on the console. Have moved town changed jobs all the usual stuff that keeps me away from finishing projects lol.
Anyway I ripped out the uhf and mounted it.
Cut the hole for the switch panel and did some of the piggyback wiring on the switches.

2012 "MORTON5000" build up

Postby MORTON5000 on Sun Nov 25, 2018 11:33 am

Another productive weekend
New pocket in where the uhf was
2 of 3 wiring harnesses done and put the factory light back in place
Trial fitted with just rear bracket. Still need to finish making the front bracket
Still waiting on a front map light and still deciding on a pocket or not???
Should be ready to cover soon, wifey you’re up.
Once I finished she the canopy I’m thinking I might change the review mirror to a rear camera or something (on all the time)

Well it’s finally in wow but that was a mission.
Haven’t bashed my head against it yet unfortunate the misses has
Still to do- make a bracket for the uhf cable so I’d doesn’t wrap around me ears
- get it covered and I’ll do the arm rest while I’m going
-Actually make it functional, needing a fuse block unless someone else has a better idea of not loading up the battery terminals
-install the map lights when ever they arrive
