Hi shrek, looking sweet.

Only question I got is if the roof rack is attached to the cab and the canopy? I've heard of people doing pretty decent damage to the roof line due to flex...
I feel sorry for people who don't drink...
When they wake up in the morning, that's the best they're going to feel all day.

Yeah i was of the same opinion... but the guy from Rhino said it would be okay, the mounts on the cab are rubber mounts and only grip the edge... in other words they are not rigid.

The rear is not tied down, only rest on the bar

Hi shreck
re your racks I've seen my truck flex with a loaded tub..twist across the roof bars about three inches from the front to the rear..and enough flex for the tub to touch the cab..that means that in twist...the bars would be under considerable stress..is the guy from the roof rack company is giving you the right info....with rubber and the rear bar not connected still means stress is being transfered across those bars to your roof and canopy in a way they are not designed for..

Thanks Graham

I went to the rhino dealer today to discuss

We was confident of the setup... however will relay my concerns to his colleges for further feedback

Last time i was out, we noticed it had flexed about 1 inch on the canopy bar.. however didnt seem to be under much load ..

Ill let you know what the come back with ... hopefully in writting :)

Ok at the rear of the cage above the canopy if the left side of the cage goes up in twist of the chassis the other side does the opposite and goes down and puts pressure on the canopy rack longitudinal bar ....does your canopy have a internal frame to take this downward pressure?

Finally got around to fixing the roof rack problem

Was one

Now two

Will look like one when I paint and put back on, except there will be a 1cm gap so it can flex

Lucky I guess I had no problems
