Hi Cam,

Looks great can,t believe how much you've done. II picked up a white GLX in March, great truck. I am a bit slow off the mark with pimping it only fitted a set of neoprene seat covers so far (wetseat) good fit look great.
I noticed you have fog lights with white surrounds was that an extra?
Cheers..

The fog lights were on it when I got it so I'm not sure if they were an extra or the original owners painted them. I do need to get some seat covers before I wreck the seats! Haha
And Mudme here's the photos you wanted- it's just bolted to the bar and I hole sawed holes in the bottom to get a socket it. Just need a big step drill to clean up the bottom holes.

Colour matched fog light surrounds were standard for the MN GLXR from memory.

I hate to say it but that light bar looks pretty easy to steal - have heard of a few getting knicked so I hope you've taken some precautions there.

Just a quick question Friend in WA got a $100 fine for his light bar what is the law in Victoria any idea it all has to do with present WA law requires 2 spotlights set at a level of the main head lights his light bar was on the roo bar and the cop said just put some tape in the middle make it two he is going to take it further and go to a magistrate but first get some advice from a engineer Queensland have already passed a new law making them legal

nice rig there

As far as I know, Vic law regarding extra lights was changed fairly recently to no more than 6 (I think) forward facing lights, and I believe none above the roof. So my light bar on the sports bar probably isnt legal. But because my low beams turn off when I switch to high beam I only have 4 forward facing lights on at once.

I noticed the other day I didn't have anywhere in the Trito to put my sunnies and that the interior light is well, shit. So I decided to kill two birds with one stone with this-

It's a sunglasses holder from a VY-VZ Commodore. It was a breeze to fit and wire to the stock interior light, gives off plenty of light and looks like it grew there!

Just a couple of teck screws through the roof!
Hahaha kidding, It's got 2 screw holes inside the sunglasses compartment, all I did was make 2 flat plates that run from where the clock is mounted to the back of the holder and screw it on. The other end of it just hooks over the roof lining.

Love it mate, it's a fair bit stiffer but that's to be expected. What's Ultimate? I guess I haven't been hanging around the forums long enough haha.
