That's the spirit. I'd go an xrox for value then. If you want to either save money or get a winch at same time etc. Unless you are loaded, then mcc and all the fruit!

I went with ironman deluxe over the mcc falcon bar, looking at them side by side the ironman looked a bit better built, mcc are still good though I do have one of their rear bars

Quick update. Have found out by ultimate suspension that the new (post 2012) mn tritons have the revised "sports" suspension which has higher spring rates and higher ride heights equalling their 50mm lift kits. So I will give that a miss but will probably get their shock absorbers still. I have just also grabbed a 600mm LED light bar and also a chip it S Drive throttle module. Rear bar and side steps to come next.

Had a look at them. They look alright but if I go a bar I will get steel.

Fitted a chipit E Drive throttle controller (sprint booster) today and man what a difference it makes. Got rid of all delay caused by electronic throttle. Still has some turbo lag which is hard to eliminate with the variable vein turbos but over all it is now far more responsive and feels like it has a LOT more go. Highly recommended mod!!

Also finally got around to making up a tray cargo divider. I used some 20x20mm aluminium C channel extrude vertically down each side of the tub and then some ply slid neatly between them creating a solid board divider. Perfect space for groceries/pram/future triton goodies.

Haven't had much time lately but after doing some night driving and some off road trips I have just purchased some Phillips x-treme 100+ headlight bulbs to replace the average standard bulbs and also a rear dust seal kit which I think should be a standard feature. I am also in the process of getting the parts for a dual battery setup.

I only just noticed this truck. It looks clean, I'm usually not a fan of the bigger rims but with the extra rubber on it just looks mean

Moraydrift, the rear dust seal kit is a genuine Mitsubishi part so most dealers should be able to get them. It was $112. P/N is MR936823 if that helps.

Juggz, yeah thanks mate the wheels are 17". I did not choose these tyres though they were a package deal with the wheels. I wouldn't mind some even bigger good quality tyres in the future.

I need to get some proper sliders next so I don't damage my sills. The factory alloy steps don't seem too strong.

Its been a while so thought I'd add an update. I have since added an LED light bar mounted on front bar, chip it throttle controller, muffler delete, Tony's ET mod, custom rock sliders and 2" bilstein/ king suspension lift. Currently doing a dual battery setup then go rear bar and front locker.

Beats me how you go driving around in the dirt and the tread of your tyres doesn't even get dirty. :?

The shiny black ones always look good. :D

What are your thoughts so far on the bilsteins/kings? It's what I'm running. Well half running now.

I like them from the short time that I've had them in. Good flex and better ride than standard. How do you feel about them?

I love it. Rides well. Sits well. My front has sagged a little but only due to addition of bullbar. Recently changed rear to ultimate but only coz I wanted long travel shocks and to try them out.

I had bilsteins and kings all round, now my front is bilstein/kings and my rear is a chopped up bastardised king spring with bits removed and other bits added, and running ultimates long travel shocks. So essentially every element is different from the next.

Sounds like quite the concoction you have there Haha. I read that you are running 33" tyres. I am running 31's and originally was going to go 33's next but there is s lot of negativity being thrown around here about it. Do you still like the 33's or will you go 32's when they wear out?

I will stick with 33s. I have not encountered one issue with them. No cv breakages etc. Even with changing driving style I can still get good economy.

Yeah well that's what I'm thinking of running as well. 33" ATs will balloon nicely for beach on 17" wheels too.
