Nice :D

I was trying to work out if it was an optioned up GLX or a GLX-R with GLX grille and side steps, and why the ML tray? Then I noticed that you are from South Africa, and I guess they have a different model line up to Australia. Looks good, can't wait to see the "Tritonator" conversion.

Is an EGR fitted in South Africa? I had heard rumours that they are EGR free, so no need for a blanking plate.

Yes, they all have the EGR valves... Even the older models.

Fitted the Rollbar and cover...

I will interchange between rollbar/cover and Alu Canopy with RTT... When we go camping, I'll fit Canopy, and for normal day-to-day use, I fit the rollbar...

This new Triton does not have a nut welded at the back to fit the centre bolt... With my previous Tritons, I installed the centre bolt as well...

Those bash plates look a bit flatter than ours but perhaps it's just the angle of the photos?

"Haro ...yes we know .....!! you also said that or similar in the last post that I pointed out a bolt was missing..!!
I think its very important to fit this bolt as bolts do break or come loose especially on long corrugated dirt roads..to have a bash plate drop down to the road dig in to the dirt and part company whilst smashing the shit out of the bottom of my truck would be a disaster..if not deadly.......also I wouldn't like to meet a bash plate on the road at 80 km/ph..ejected from someone else's truck...you've been following.....it's better to be safe than sorry.....I've had a similar thing happen whilst in a convoy.. it didn't end very well ...when a bulbar wing came loose...and lodged in trailing vehicles radiator...

I know what your saying VS and the MN doesn't have a captive nut for the center hole. I usually install a nut and bolt with washers, however I remove it prior to a service as I know how I fitted it. I also end up with cuts down the inside of my arm installing it.

I like the bash plate because it has a drain hole for the sump! Thats one hell of a good idea there.

Yeas... Most of our bashplates available in SA has this access for oil drain... But you'll have to remove the complete plate if you're going to drain diff oil though, but this you don't do to often.

This is the "flattest" one available in SA with the least amount of impact on your ground clearance... :D

Just on the oil drain thing, if you have a fumoto valve on the sump with a nipple fitted then you only need a hole in the plate big enough to stick a bit of hose up onto the nipple. Stick the other end of the hose into an empty oil container, reach over the cross member to turn the valve to open and sit back and wait for a mess free oil drop.
