Yeah as it was said, I bought them off Motoz. You can get them off eBay for around $700 and be prepared for a real pain in the arse of a job lol.

Spose while there is chatter in here, I can give a quick update on the silver thing.

Front locker done. So now its twin locked.
Transfer reduction(40% crawler gears) are being installed soon. Hopefully next week if not it will have to wait a month or so.
KC Hilites 8inch Pro-sport HIDs and 4inch LZR LED lights should hopefully arrive this week.
Flares are on - as you can see.
Icom UHF and RFI antenna still yet to go on.
Tigers Domin8r winch I still havent put on.
Diff breathers still havent been put on.
4inch extended brake lines still havent been put on.

I really need to make a weekend of it and put everything on.

1st/2nd week of August Matty from Monster Rides is taking my car for the diff drop and upper control arms. So he will have the car for a week or so for the mock up.

When it gets back from Matty, the car goes to Impossible Fabrication for custom bar work. Re doing the wings on the XROX bar, Re doing the Xrox sliders, making front brush bars, Re doing the rear MCC bar, and making removable rear brush bars.

Also at some stage it will have to go back to Matty so the diff drop/ucas can be fitted, once made after the mock up. When thats done, I can put the 70mm extended rear shackles in and ustilise the coilovers and actually raise the thing higher.

Then I can fit the Brown Davis tray tank and long range tank.
Still looking around for 315/75R16s, can't decide on which tyres I want. Probably Nitto Mud Grapplers.

Have spoken to Tunehouse for a tune and exhaust with a custom tuned Unichip - But thats still up in the air currently. Nothing set in stone there. Plus ive got a fair bit to get done before it goes there. IF it goes there.

There is probably a few things I'm forgetting, but thats about it really.

cheers,
Mat

Going to be a beast when you finish Skiddy. Be interesting to see what Monster Rides comes up with. As always will be watching closely to the changes and comments by others. ;)

Thanks guys, Im pretty keen on seeing how it turns out lol. I'm waiting like everyone else.
I've been getting mates and the mrs to pick up things for me and drop stuff off.. take the car places and stuff to try and speed up the process.

Only got 4035kms on it! I think the mrs drives it when I'm away
Prob be a while before a proper update with more pics and things.

I'm getting way ahead of myself, will just get the above list sorted and then worry about other things I think.. maybe

Good on ya Matt.

Interested to see how the UCA's and front DD come up.

The Nitto's are a pretty soft tyre. My brother ran them as dailies on his Hilux and they were flogged out in less than 40K.

Thanks Motoz, I've heard they are soft. But I don't do enough K's to worry about it. 40,000ks is going to take me 5+ years to do lol. Its not a daily, and only gets driven when we go camping or we need to tow something.
So many different choices, all have pros/cons its hard deciding.

My current 33's the Kumho KL71's im giving to a mate, well i've said when I get the 35's he can have them. So no he's bugging me to get 35's lol.

Will sort something, its just time like everything else.
Thanks again for the flares mate to!

It's a good pic. The flares are like 3inches wider than the bar. Partly the reason for re doing the wings.

They make the car wide. Need to play with rims aswell to get that stance again. It's looking like -30 offset or so. Another thing to play around with.

Has anything more happened in regards to the CVs you were looking into? If Matty's sorting the diff drop I guess they are not as required as without it...

Stiddy, you are repeatedly posting PM's on here. They are PM's - that is Private Messages  that is what has been removed from here. (and not mine either).

It is against forum rules but more importantly is against good manners and general respect for other human beings to publicly compromise their privacy.

You were asked not to do it very politely, as you have been asked every time you intentionally do things that are against the forum rules, and you tell us to get lost and continue to do exactly what you were politely asked not to do.

Then you come back and tell us on numerous occasions that you are looking into starting a break away forum from newtriton because of the way you are being treated

You have intentionally caused nothing but trouble - and kept it all behind the scenes so no one on the forum is actually aware of what you are up to other than you telling everyone how you are the victim.

With the absolute garbage you have inundated us with would you like us to start posting your PM's? Let members see what you actually think and say about the membership and the forum to the moderators?

The truth is you have intentionally set out to disrupt the forum, bait the moderators at every opportunity and poured scorn on the membership and owner of the forum while hiding behind PM's.

Now you have decided to start posting others PM's

Wake up to yourself.
I hate to advocate drugs, sex, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they’ve always worked for me.

That is the key here.

if you organize a group buy through a recognized business, makers of the cv's then it is ok.

Group buys have been successfully completed for things like front lokkas, pillar pods, rock sliders.
stronger, better cv's fit this bill

A member just has to do it properly and not for "personal gain" or do it to promote their own business

 seems I've may have reflared some old tensions.

Stiddy, may have been a slight misunderstanding. I'm not interested in buying the CVs. I have a baby due in 4 weeks :D so my funds for big ticket items has all but dried up :(. Am genuinly interested in the progress made and the outcome though. You have taken a different approach to your build so I'm keen to learn how its all come together and how it all works. With you going offline your build is missing pieces to the puzzle. If you are wanting to keep it to yourself then all good mate. Good luck with the remainder of the build up should be awesome once done.

Mods, appologies if this has created extra work for you guys, not my intention at all.
