Just check with the sussy experts first.

with the newer models sitting higher from stock a 2" lift is probably not possible due to cv angles & bumpstop issues.

you may not get much of a lift, but will get a better ride/handling & heavier duty to cover the weight of addons.

I should be able to got 2 inches with like work as my ML had a 4 inch lift at the front and a 5 inch lift at the rear. I fitted a one piece tailshaft to fix the vibrations.

there is a thread that compares the new std height against what the 2" lift gives the older models.

I just dont want to see you make a mistake & waste your money ;)

I buggered up with my original sussy upgrade & am saving to do it right next time around. It's a pain having to pay for it twice.

4" on the front would give some pretty severe CV angles

Nah I rang a Thailand down front diff so the CV angle was nearly level and used MK rear Lift springs.
Whats the thread called about the new std height?

The suspension in my MY15 is slowly settling in and falling in height every day.
I swear the day i drove it out of the factory it had the 1st gear shudder and measured almost the same height as a MY10 with 2" Ult suspension.
Looks great GLX-RSilver, what brand of snorkel is that ?

The Snorkel was just a ebay special and it caught with a alloy recovery bottle but with the MN I have to move the power steering bottle to fit the recovery bottle or fab up a new stainless steel recovery bottle.

When talking about 'newer models' not being good with a 2" lift how new are we talking? I have a my13 I was hoping to lift soon is this not a good idea?

I just checked my New MN and noticed that the front drive shafts are level at factory height so can see a reason why it couldn't be lifted a bit as the upper bumpstop still had nearly 30mm clearance.

How easy was the genuine tub liner to install?

Going to get one soon and tossing up whether to attempt it myself or get Mitsubishi to do it with my 1500km service (as im not all that tool savvy) haha.

It was very easy to install, its the factory under lip one.

There is a few strips of double sided to hold it in and the tailgate is held by double sided tape and the factory screws.

Good to see you getting stuck back into it. One of the other moderators was just telling me over the weekend that you'd been a bit of a pioneer with the ML back in the early days of the forum and those shots and the background with the Thai diff drop etc go some way to illustrating that. Looking forward to seeing what else you come up with.

Yeah I did do a lot of work on my ML and know what things I need to do to my MN to get to a similar stage.

One problem you might find though is that a lot of the rules have tightened up. Well nearly all of them actually and even worse if the new car has stability control etc. Unless of course you just shut your eyes and ignore all of that as many Triton owners seem to do.

I should be ok as i'm not going as crazy as my ML. Its only going to get a 2 inch lift which I guess is more like 3inch compared to a Std ML. Just 32 tires not 33's like my ML.
I'm setting it out for a safe tourer and the odd trip up the Vic High country,
But will be making my own rear bar as I did on my ML, plus exhaust.
I'm keeping to the rules this time as I don't plan to sell my MN like I was forced to with my ML.

I received My Everest Bull Bar today
It was very well wrapped up.
Once it was un-packed I decided I was happy with it having the stainless steel hoops and I stripped the Bar to get new steel hoops welded in.

Also Noticed with the Snorkel Kit that the supplied Recovery Bottle wouldn't Fit in MY15 triton due to the power steering bottle mounted in that position.

As you see in this photo the power steering bottle.
