Hi maxiy. That welder is a rossi. It's just a small mig/stick setup. For most welds on this tray I use mig, however for some long welds I'll be using stick. It's only a small cheap unit off ebay, as most of my welding I use my tig welder. It's a good little unit, I can't fault it, however i wouldn't use it for commercial use.

Cheers Tuff

Almost bought a Rossii from gumtree a few months back, was hardly used, guy was selling it for $100 bucks, kicking myself that i didnt snap it up now, wasnt sure of the build quality, but having looked at the same setup in CIGWELD, and UNIMIG they all seem to be the bloody same haha. Have been umming and ahhing about if this style of unit would be suitable for my needs, but judging by what you use it for it should be perfect (i suck at welding, looks like a pigeon has been crapping over my shoulder so i only do very minor stuff).

Supercheap are having a sale on the CIGWELD 135 at the moment may have to go and invest.

Thanks Mate

Cigweld and unimig are both good brands, and obviously preferred. I took a gamble buying this particular machine, but it's paid off and they are always fixable.

If you are looking for advice on welding I highly recommend "welding tips and tricks". The guy is on youtube and they have a forum too. very informative.

Thanks for the tips, got a catalogue from masters, they have the CIGWELD 135 kit with auto-darkening helmet for $319 at the moment, going to go and pick one up today

Shall check out the youtube videos for sure.

I have a long list of welding projects when your finished with the tray Sam :D
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything important, it's too late to stop reading it.

Think i have nutted out the rear beam. Was tough with choice of lights as the rounds were all too big. So had to choose a slimline set. Hopefully start cutting them in this arvo.

Nothing, my ex had bought them for me, all i wanted were ones that said "sam..."

I'll probably get rid of them for just the standard plates one day.

Are you putting some cutouts in the back bar for some LED reversing lights & reversing camera ?

Have to agree with Lunny, sam your max tracks are more like a slip & slide not a bump left on them
Lunny never gets stuck he is normally doing 300km's an hour. Maybe that caused his engine issues I think that the engine is only good for a 12g shock on landing - maybe some gas assist seats
