Hey mate be careful putting the bigger tyres on! If you have an Auto you will be disappointed with a few things such as take off speed and fuel econ. I have also been advised by a few tradies onsite that similar results with the Manuals as well. My understanding to over come these issues are to redo the gearing. I put 265/75/16s on my triton and took them off after 4000ks and downsized to 265/70/16s which has helped out heaps.

Cheers

Was that on an auto or manual tailor? Your economy go to crap, take off or both? Was going to do 265/75s and hadn't heard anything too bad.

Thanks for the heads up! So that's about the same As a 32? If I go bigger I will keep the tyres that re on it now for road use and swap over when I'm going away

265/75 16's are OK on manuals, they are a bit slower on take off and on mine they added 0.5 l/100kms and you can feel the difference but its not un-driveable or anything. Mine will have 32" muddies for as long as I have it cause it looks awesome and they make a massive difference off road but I can understand why others dont like them. 33"'s I think would be pushing it and I believe might start to break stuff

I have 265/75 r16 on my auto glx, fuel wise its a bit worse I get around 500 km off a tank, take off is a bit slower but other than that they are great

thanks for the heads up mine has 245 wranglers on it at the moment they have seemed to handle them self well the main reason I want to go bigger is to help with diff cleance, I have been looking out for a second hand pair of 275" because I will only run them when I'm going of road

She's your thread mate, bomb away as much as you want.

How did you deal with the white bits between the letters? Were you masking those tiny bits or did you pull the paint off later? Or something else I haven't thought of yet?
