Also not happy with the S150 Pure Android head unit.

Slow and buggy. I am going to try and modify a newer OS otherwise I will be getting rid of it and buying a decent aftermarket unit.

Both batteries in the two keys will be the same age. The spare could be a bit flat even if not used. Mine has a good 20 or 30 metres maybe.

my remote has never been good a distance.
5 mts would be about as far as I can get most of the time. Occasionally it will work further.

asked the dealer to check it last service & they said it was ok.

I just live with it. still better than unlocking with a key.

I wonder if you have inadvertently blocked the receiver for the transponder in your other mucking around.

That's quite possible.

15K service is due this week.

Anything I should be getting looked at especially ? I already told them about the squeaky rear end. Everything seems alright.

I presume I will have to remove the chip ? The exhaust will have to stay though couldn't be fuggered removing that

So my crappy aftermarket pureandroid s150 and /or amp is getting alternator noise.

I bought an inline noise filter that I put on the 12v+ from battery.

Still getting buzzing. Should I have put in on the acc 12v ? or on the amp ?

I will be much happier when I get a genuine unit installed. Ended up spending close to 1K on this after all the crap with mounts and hoods etc etc.

I had extra pipe welded at the tyre so it exits the rhs instead of under the car blowing black soot all over the tailgate etc

I went off road yesterday off Wellard Road behind the freight terminal. It seems I have given the undercarriage quite a beating.

When it 4wd and turning 2 turns either right or left there is a knocking coming from the front.
The plates covering the front diff have copped quite a beating.

What should I look for damage wise to the actual gear after I remove the standard plates.

Double check the bash plate bolts first. When they're loose they can make noises as the chassis shifts with the wheels being turned.

Mine is making a knocking sound at present and the problem appears to be the lower strut bushes so I guess check those too. It was also suggested to me I should check all the control arm bolts but as it turns out all of mine were rock solid.

The only other grommet I know of is where the loom runs from the ECU on the passenger side but is difficult to get to.
You have to pull out glove box, fan housing, passenger air bag etc....

Noticed a slight noise coming from the front wheels - also felt it through the steering wheel.

Jacked it up and checked around.

Took it to Bob Jane's who did a rotation and balance the week prior.

Ended up finding 2 wheel nuts missing on right hand driver wheel. Obviously won't be going back there again.

Still have knocking though when it 4wd while turning. I have removed the OEM bash plate and have taken some photos which I will upload l8r. Any ideas what's causing the sound ?

Does it knock once each time you turn a corner or is it several times each corner ?

So I am stationary, wheels straight. Put it in 4wd. Drive straight normal. As soon as I turn the wheel the knocking starts and its constant while moving with the wheel turned. At idle speed its knock knock knock.

Sounds like a cv, might not be able to see anything without pulling them apart, you should be able to determine which side it is by driving and listening

Sounds like a cv or and you won't like this, it could be the front diff. Had this problem with a subaru changed the front cv's due to knocking but it was the the front diff, it had chipped a tooth.
