My guess is worn cv's... Is more a clicking sort of noise yes? Only happens in 4x4 yes?
Jack both the front wheels off ground and turn wheels full lock both ways, rotate wheels and see if you can feel them binding up... If it feels free then I wouldn't worry about them... mine have been clicking for about the last 50k km's and haven't let go yet.

Worn cv's aren't normally covered under warranty but I've heard of a few members here that have had them replaced under warranty... This just depends on the situation and the dealer.
For shits and giggles I once tried asking a dealer for warranty on mine, they took one look at my truck and said 'no way'.

Mate, given a little encouragement I could bust CVs that were 7 minutes old. They're a fuse, there to protect even more expensive and difficult to replace items in your drivetrain. Try your dealer, if you like. I wish you success but won't hold my breath on a result. ;)

If it's something else then they should find it and it may be covered under warranty.

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?

If the wheel nuts were loose or gone while you were wheeling there is a chance you have elongated the stud holes in your wheels of warped the studs

Take off the wheel that had the missing nuts check out the wheel holes, and I would be asking the tyre shop to replace all studs as a courtesy/ safety concern

Thanks for the replies. I will get it to the dealer first, see what they say and then follow up with the tyre retards.

Anyone know a good place for rotations and balances SOR Perth ?

The truck is at the stealers trying to work out the noise while in 4wd and turning.

Currently its on a hoist. Front diff is drained. Tech says looks like water/rust. Next is pulling it apart.

No physical damage so whats the cause ?

Warranty ?

Buggered seals or leaky breather? Certainly worth arguing for. How many kms on it? Always dealer serviced?

Then I'd be arguing hard for that, unless you've drowned it or something.

There are people around with near new centres that would be cheap. See how you go with warranty first.

More toggle switches. Top one on its own gives power to the bottom 2 toggles (and has a red led) as well as the rocker switch above. These switches are for Light Bar (rocker) and rear cree floods. 1 set on top of sports bar and 1 set under chassis.

Request has been sent for warranty - will know Monday arvo sometime.

I presume that's a good sign ? or else they would have said straight up its not covered due to user damage/neglect ?

Installed my arm-rest today. Nice and comfy.

One Issue. it wont fully open due to padding at rear. I will be taking it back to the upholsterer to fix.

Apart from that its all good.

Front diff is getting a warranty replacement next week.

I presume I will need a front wheel alignment ?

Any other issues I should look out for ?

Also curious about the clutch. Its a manual MN GLX with 16K on the clock all done towing a 2.5/3T trailer which includes reversing up a slight slope at nights which involves riding the clutch a bit.

How long should I expect it to last and what should I upgrade it too/where should I get it done. Happy to get it replaced whenever.

At 16k it should have plenty of life left in it unless you've been unduly rough with it.

I changed mine out for a HD unit at 110,000km, but only because Mitsubishi were pulling the gearbox out for other work. The clutch looked to be about half worn at that stage.

Negligible heavy towing but a fair amount of low range work. Clutch always stunk after low range work in the rocks.
