Hey buddy I got the Ute ones and then made the side wings myself. As it only comes with the centre.

Hey sav,
Nice rig you got there mate, just wondering what size length is your rack? And did you do the install yourself if so how hard is it to install the feet of the rack? Thinking about getting the tradie rack for mine and doing the install.
Cheers minza.

Hi Sav

Sorry to back track a little, I have the same draws as you , and would like to make some wings, however need some time on my hands..

Did you find it difficult to drill through the tub and the liner to mount the draws?

did you drill from under the tub upwards, or did you drill down?

Also did you need to move the channels that help mount the draws to the tub? (hope that makes sense)

Thanks

Brad

Brad, if you don't want to do as Sav did by bolting and access these from under....another option is to use Rivetnuts which install from above & accepts popular size threads including 4mm to 10mm - ideal if hard to access due to tank/exhaust etc or you need to easily remove any sections from time to time. Cheers, Ray

Hi Ray.

Thanks for the info, we have used riv nuts for some things at work, but never thought of it for the ute.

I will have a look into, only issue i have is the ute liner i have.

I I may consider getting rid of my drawers, as i now have a camper trailer. and just use one of my many army trunks instead..

but thank you for your info..

No problem, if you do decide to sell them don't think will take long as popular items.
Look'n for some myself at the moment.

Nah it was easy as. To drill through (I hate doing things that can't be undone) but got over that pretty quickly once I got started. Fronts I did from the top I think and back I did from underneath I can't remember why.

My wings are bolted to the middle draws

Hi buddy aeroklas from TJM.

To be honest wasn't 100% happy with the install but the canopy is fantastic and I believe they are having a special at the moment.

Hi Sav, just went back through your thread - nice looking ute mate !
Like ToughTriton, I'm too looking around at canopy pricing - so the $400 cash back deal at TJM looks OK providing the pricing isn't loaded up already !
You mentioned your not happy about the installation side of it ? unless your still having a beef with TJM are you in position to provide more info ?
Cheers, Ray

Hi Ray sorry I should have said I paid $2900 at the time.

To be honest I didn't both following up with TJM I just dont have the time so they have been very accommodating and fixed everything but shouldn't happen in the first place but the 2 issues.

One I ordered 2 lift up windows. And I got a 1 lift up and 1 slide.

Second issue is the black tape that goes around the lip of the tub seemed to be done with little care. I'll get some photos to show you.

Hi Sav, OK thanks for that - yes the mixup with windows is pretty slack but glad your happy overall with quality of canopy.
Cheers..
