The improved sliders

Here are the new sliders - colour coded to match the bull bar
250mm longer with improved strength - next is to add checker plate to the top just to dress it off that bit more.

They look good mate, nice and strong. No give way signs around your neighbourhood anymore? ;)
I hate to advocate drugs, sex, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they’ve always worked for me.

This car is like a bad drug habit. It is taking all my money and time, my family are concerned, but new mods just feel sooooooo good.

What did you do with your last set? These look good by the way.
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal labotomy!

It ain't pretty being easy!!

Damn they are a nice piece of work. Nice, simple, strong design.

Did you have any mucking around to make the brackets fit around the rails? I'm in the middle of trying to design some sliders along the same lines as those for my MK but there's brake lines and cab mounts and all sorts of rubbish getting in the way on one side.

I reckon they look fine without checker-plate too hey, but it's your truck and it will still be nice and bling.

Hey Greedy, I have still got the old set but going to repaint then sell them.
Namlub3 - No mucking around at all - got the brackets folded up - 2 different sizes as the chassis thins down - but both sides are matching - tight fit but wont come off in a hurry.

Went to Ormeau on Sunday and gave them a good workout - scratched a bit of paint off from under the bottom... Lots of mud from all the rain...

What sizes tube and plate did you use? Would you still go the same sizes in the future?
