Mate on the road they are good wet or dry a bit noisy, that's all I can say about them at the moment as I haven't used them in anger yet. I will report back after cup weekend as I will be having 4 days in the high country. But happy so far.

I would not worry Rats, steel covers are going to protect the shaft better than any rubber boot for sure, you probably have the latest ever improving product.

Yep. My spring compressors flexed just like yours when I did my upgrade (last pic)! I was hoping they wouldn't let go.

Ok back from my test drive and what can I say it is a different ute :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
As you can tell I'm still smiling it drives fantastic it handles corners great and even stops better.(even with the 33s on)
Great job to Brendan on supplying a great product which is a credit to him and the company, I will give a better review once I'm back from the high country when it has done some bush track's.

Looking good Rats, and even better that you did it all yourself, I am sure as you know give it about 250k's to settle before you get an alignment unless you are going to do that yourself too :D

looking good there rats

did you have any problems fitting the struts in the front. I have read subi's DIY instructions and something else on this site and I see that you can have problems with getting them in....how did you go with it??

So Rats know you've live with the new susp for a few days how do you rate it for ride comfort etc as we're finding the Koni's a bit on the hard side especially off road and are thinking of changing :? :?:

Hey Sam
The triton doesn't get much use through the week as I have company truck so it spends a lot of time doing nothing. The 100 kms I have done in it so far is brilliant , the ironman suspension I had was to hard and the ultimate makes it feel more car like.
I will wright more about the suspension when I get back from the high country after this weekend so I can tell you what it was like after some onroad and offroad work.
Regards

Hi all
The trip to the high country was fantastic and so was the triton.
The ultimate suspension performed brilliantly on the road with the weight i was carrying up to the high country I had a heap of fire wood in the back and camping gear for two people 40l of water and 40l diesel and it handle the weight like it wasn't even there.
Then we hit the dirt road's and I said to the wife this is were we will test the suspension now, again with all the weight in it I thought the ride might be a bit harsh but it just ate up the bumps and the corrigation's the ride was brilliant :D
So my verdict is the suspension is brilliant it does every thing i wanted it to do and it did it very well. :D :D
I have to thank Brendan at ultimate he was great to deal with and very helpful, he got the suspension to me on time so I could get it installed for cup weekend. (shame about the mechanic who let me down on the install  )

One little foot note to add on the way out I lost a nut and rubber of the rear shock due to the nut who tighten them not checking if before we left the high country .One of my mates who we were traveling with us had a shock rubber that was a close fit I had a washer but no nut, so I went looking for one on the car that I could use I found the ones that hold the seat down was a perfect fit. :D

Again I'm going to thank Brendan for posting the items to me straight away I received them today :D
The service you get from ultimate suspension is unbelievable I can't recommend them highly enough.. :D
