Rats,
great build up thread.
I can thoroughly recommend Cameron Campers. I've had one of their HD Off Road Campers for about 6 or 7 years and its a top unit. :D :) ;) Very well built and thought out. So can only assume their tray back unit would be good as well.

After removing the canopy I have had to relocate the compressor.
I didn't want it under the bonnet as there is bugger all room anyway and didn't want it under the seat.
So it only left me one spot to put it.

My spare lives on the roof rack or the back of the tray so getting to tool's at the back didn't concern me,so that gap seamed like the go.

I didn't want to drill into the floor to mount it so i made this up and used the bolt from the jack holder and the child restraint bolt hole to hold it down.

Checked if it was all going to fit,I wanted to use the bolt to hold the jack as well but it wasn't going to be long enough.

So I made this so i could keep the jack bolted down.

Rats,

after reading through your build thread i noted you are running 17x7 OEM rims with 285 (33") tyres and an ultimate suspension. Are you getting any rubbing or have you had any issues running this tyre on that rim width?

No rubbing but I'm using 16*7 dynamic rims with a + 22 offset.
Could you tell were it says I'm running 17s and I will edit that post sorry for any confusion.

no issue with a 285 width tyre on a 7 inch rim? all info i have found on this from tyre manufacturers state a 285 needs a wider rim. keen to know if it is ok though.

I have had no issues with the 285s on the 7 inch rim.The mtz's say you can use them on a 7 and half inch rim.The tyre place I use which I have been using since I have been driving said I would have no issues.
But legally the should be on a 8 inch rim but I couldn't get a offset I was happy with in a 8inch steel rim.

Hey rats, I know this is a weird question mate, but can you measure the diameter of the hole in the centre of that brake disc for me?

194mm only measured with a ruler so it might be a couple of mm either way. ;)
