Considering running a small grey strip along the bottom of the tray to match the wheel flares?

either way, looks good, finishes that gap nicely

Rats Build

Ok a question as you all know that I have put a tray on the triton. The advice I would like is should I keep the ARB rear bar step or put on a standard tow bar.I'm going to put some tool boxes in the gap but I'm starting to feel the ARB bar is going to limit the size of the boxes and the step is pretty useless under the tray.I do like the idea if the step protecting the tool boxes but that does seem like the only positive at the moment.

Standard towbar for sure. I'd go the glx one as its a bit higher...

I'd fill the gap up with some toolboxes that follow the same angle as the rear step, should look the goods. Tray looks awesome.

The bar does look a bit odd at the moment. I guess it stops someone from sliding under your tray in a rear impact but a GLX towbar would do the same and not be quite as conspicuous.

If I was you I would swap the ARB rear bar for my factory tow bar  In all seriousness it does look a bit odd. Go the GLX bar or modify one to suit.

Is departure angle important? 8-) I always thought a big benefit of the new tray was better clearance, if you need a towbar isn't the ARB quite a bit higher than standard? :? A couple of tool boxes will fill the gaps and could fix the look :D

Of course if clearance doesn't matter go the GLX

Pretty sure a GLX bar is about the same height as the ARB bar. It's the GLX-R one that sits really low. I could be wrong though.

Ok I am pretty sure after a lot of thought and some of the answers here the ARB bar is going. It looks like I'm looking for a glx tow bar now and selling the ARB bar.

Looks good. Did u say u carry the spare in the tray now? If not, u may need to move the numberplate to the side. I had mine in the same place when I rushed to put my tray on, a few says later picked up a nail on a job site, then had to bend it out of the way to lower the wheel down.

I was thinking of doing the same thing with the flares off the tub, just spent the afternoon making up a template out of alloy sheet.

Nice truck
