One bloke told me that if I went ahead and installed my radio on my nudge bar, I would have to somehow get the cable all the way back out of the firewall to install on the new bullbar when it arrives. He told me that if I cut the connector off, I would need an entire new cable from the antenna.
Now I am no rocket scientist, but I have had a few CBs etc, and yes, cable length etc can affect the SWA, but seriously... surely I just cut the connector off, and rerun the cable, and put a new connector on without screwing things up??

I was just planning on cutting the connector off near the radio, and then pull the cable out and rerun through the bullbar.
Apparently you can't do this at the Antenna end - is that right?

Mind you if the bull bar has a slot mount you may not need to cut off the connector.
