That's with 33s so the kms are a bit out. So would actually be 670ish.... But that doesn't bother me. If I was worried about fuel I would have brought a Prius. Haha

Here it is, pretty much sitting at final height (crappy pic).

Front has come up 85-90mm
Rear has come up 110-135mm
And now have 340 under the front diff...

Lookin good Tim, is yours a 5 cylinder, I suppose they all would be???
Just measured my clearance;
Front - 290mm to the bash plates
Back - 230mm at the diff
Are you doing any more to the rear?

Yeah 5cyl. In the ranger you can get a 2.2 4cyl but not the Mazda...
Can't do anything about the rear clearance because of the rear axel. Can only get more clearance with bigger tyres... Next on the list... Lol

Lol.... when I first got it and put the 33s on, I went for a day trip with my mates who all have patrols big turbo diesels and v8s..... Two of them now have exactly the same rig as mine now... Funny actually, the three of us all have patrol utes at one stage on 35s with canvas canopies. Now we have matching bts with 33s

Installed my water tank, pump and heat exchanger on the weekend..... Took all day to do but works well. Few little thing to finish off but pretty much done

Its a 70ltr poly tank with a metal frame fixed to the tray, the pump is an 11.3l/pm surflow pump fixed under the tray next to the second battery and the heat exchanger is a Helton shower unit fitted in the engine bay with some brackets I made.

How long does it take to heat up that tank man ...sounds like a cool setup my mate with patrol has a similar heat exchanger and uses it to heat up. 20 l drum of water and then takes the drum and his 12 v shower and he's away....are you showering from the tank is that the idea??

Hey Brodie, it doesn't heat up the tank. The tank is under the tray and is just fresh water storage. And the unit under the bonnet is a heat exchanger so cold water goes in one end and hot comes out the other end. Car need to be at running temp to get hot water. The pump is mounted next to the tank and is set up to draw from the tank but also an external source (river) if required.

mmmm. Very nice.
Looking at the Ranger brochure as we speak....
Had a quick look on car sales. I thought the Mazda was supposed to be cheaper than the Ford but it seems the other way around??
Thought thats what the car reviewers were saying and the main reason for going for the Mazda over the Ford?

I didn't say it was better in the bottom, I just said it was easier and quicker.
