Well it's finall complete.....the OME suspension has been fitted and looks pretty good. They managed to get 42mm out of the front and 62mm from the rear, however the rear will settle a little more than the front. The guys at ARB told me they didn't have setting for the allignment as yet so they used the triton settings as the front ends are almost identicle. Seems to be ok as there is no pulling either way.

All in all I'm so far rapt with the outcome. And it came in at nice price!

Also a new UHF fitted. This time went for a new compact GME as space is a premium in the Challenger.

42 and 62 isnt bad.

they only quote 20mm lift for the Triton but some have reported more. what did they tell you it would go up by before they fitted it?

at work at the moment so cant view the picks but will when I get home tonight.

cheers

Hey Tassie,
They quoted 35 for the front and 40 for the rear. So 42 and 62 is very good. The salesmen and the fitter where both pretty impressed, in fact the saleman took some photos to show his missus as her was going to buy her a challenger and do it up with the ARB gear.

looks good Dazz, I always used to use OME stuff but the small increase in ride height they quote wasnt enough for me but looks like they are fairly conservative. I will watch to see how it settles in

me too ... nice looking triton wagon there m8

we were thinking the wagon option too, but the $ difference was too much of a push on the budget ... if it's not too rude of a question, what did it cost you for the wagon?

No you're right Destorman....

I lease my car so you need to take into account "fleet discounts" and the like. I was also lucky that the dealer sent allot of commercial work to ARB HQ so I got some really good deals on the aftermarket stuff. As I drove away from the dealer, with color coded bullbar, fog lights (not spotties), cargo barrier, tow bar, blue tooth and Coopers was under $50K. I have since added the suspension, uhf and brake controller.

I am hanging to get out and have play. Want to see how it goes against my Prado 120's. I dare say given simple things departure angles there is no contest, plus the standard factory diff lock...

Yes 33's would be nice, but I'm sure if I'd have any clearance issues on full lock. Some thing to concider for the future though ;)

Bump - How's the build going? I'm getting a Challenger this year since I found out the Triton only has two anchor points, and I'll be needing three....
