Nice work on your bash plates and can you post a complete picture of your truck?

About the steering damper, i was reading that you guys have problems with big tires, i'm surprised because I have 315/70/r17 and haven't had any problems with them on steering.

After many months I decide to install the "famous" snorkell!!!! And why it dosn't fit on MN or ML with ASTC....even with ABS....
Let's see whats going on guys......

The black is mine......and the grey is the thai,(already modifided)

.....the new one is ready for the mold, and it is 11-12 cm longer as you see...

.....on the arrow no1 was the hole of the first snorkel(direct to abs and astc ecu......my mistake was that I thought the space under the flare was enough to turn it......but no....)
The arrow no 2 is the new hole (it is on the place of radiator bottle) and with a little angle it's ok now....

......too much work for me........AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!But I'll made it.........

Why not mate??? :D :D
....But the result must be perfect, and easy to install...

And something that I forgot to say.........all the holes of the "original" thai product was too small I think( for the airbox about 53mm,about 56 for the snorkel and 60mm the spiral tube, inner diameter for all)...mine are about at least 65mm...

The mold is finished, and you can see the difference with the first (black) snorkel.......

The next step is the pipe for the snorkel and the airbox....grey-green 90deg part for the airbox, black rubber pipe 70mm I.D,grey 90deg part for the snorkel.......and white-grey 45deg part if we need and another option!!!............3 parts ready for molds....

And that's why I think that the aerial must be removed from there.....(here in Europe we haven't this problem....our aerials it is in the midle ;) ).........
As you can see on the mold, with the black pen lines, the position of the aerial........on grey snorkel you can see the dimensions of the aerial place,10cm x 3.5cm x 2cm depth.....I think it is too much space for the inlet of the snorkel.....
