Well there you go. That's rediculously hot for 80mA a light.
It's actually got me
Asking questions why do my 6 switches all show 19ohms on the fluke but draw 80mA.

I used on of these just to make it a bit more neat, not in the same spot though down below the ashtray.

I like the position you have used, just thought I would mention as I see the screw

oh and another source of multi stand wire is "trailer wire" usually available in 5 or 7 strand and obviously have a larger amperage load capability

i didnt know DC did anything else its not like it has an impedance, i guess it must be neon then but even that boggles my mind being 12v driving through a gas. in all ways its catered for with the 2.5mm.

yea i didnt want to use a screw, but it holds the mechanism shut. even tho the spring open is removed when you operate the switches you tend to operate the latch part. so the screw is holding both push and pull forces.

if i had some more 6pr i would have ran it, i havent had the need for trailer cable yet. but yeah that was my 2nd thought but i only had Cat5 with me.

had a sweet day at the speedway, i was pitcrew for a mate but its an awesome community amongst the wingless sprinters.
we busted both front shock mounting bolts and one complete shock. the car was towed back to the pits and we sorted out what was actually damaged, i walked to the toolbox 3m away there was 3 other racers were already stripping the shocks and offering parts to get him back on the road. Awesome.

a few soft roll overs mostly from jostling/bumping for position, a few quicker headons into the walls. one right infront of me at about 70km/h.

wednesday is tray day.
keen is an understatement

Them yellow blokes were pretty good for 400bucks. I wasn't a fan of the on top of the bar setup.
These bad boys (50w) throw some nice light. I'm certainly happy with them. Are they worth $900 not sure yet they throw a very long light.. I'll be happier when my other Combo filters turn up..
I ordered some yellow tint film for $2.29 in prepared to trial tinted filters till Lightforce release them, yellow throws good light still that is easier on the eye

yea they are, i ordered the 35W but they were taking forever and the price difference was $100.
so i rang the shop i bought them from and asked if it was too late to upgrade. it wasnt.

nah yellow is useful, so is blue but the light is bluish already, i want better light in dust and fog = yellow

very happy with the tray build quality, i had a few extras chucked in. one being the rear rack can be stored at the front next to the actual headboard. which is handy, a little noisey. the method for fastening the rear rack in is a recessed tube with a tapped hole and a bolt and locking nut arrangement to keep it solid, the front stowage doesnt. the other issue with that recessed pipe is it protrudes into the wheel arch and takes up 2" of the up travel. ill chuck up a few photos later

as for the Venoms. they strike and warm very fast. for how little the light is they do a good job. plenty of "fill" light below the beam. im still playing with their arrangement, ill certainly be buying another combo lens and flood lenses when they become available. yellow would be nice just to knock a little glare off.

Tomorrow is the day i purchase the metal for the rooftop frame and measure up to figure out which tank i can fit under the tray.

Looks very 8-) jamo

What is the length, it looks shorter than most trays I've seen and that'll be a benefit offroad if it is the case :)
