Hey I have finally got around to putting some photos up of my Triton on photobucket so I thought I'd start a build up thread!

I bought my Triton in October 2010 with 36000k's on the clock.
Kept it standard for a couple months then added the Ironman Deluxe Commercial bar and some roofracks with Rod Holders. Ordered the Sprintbooster from Ultimates which I love.
I then got my Hella Rally 4000 spotties and installed them. Had some goodies from my old MK triton like my CB and Aerial which I installed in the MN.

Heres a pic of my old MK nice and dirty.

I am loving the Triton at the moment with the increase in power over the MK. I have ordered the Ultimate suspension kit which should drastically improve the handling as it seems as if I am driving a boat sometimes.
Here are a few pics of my beast now pre suspension lift.

I am also changing the tub from the MN to ML tub. Ute is too long to fit in my garage which is driving me crazy. I have bought an old ML tub which is currently getting some bar work done so I can get a canvas canopy installed. I will show you some progess shots once the bar work is done. My suspension should be here any day now so I will post after shots of the car once the kit is on. :D :D

Looking good Davor. Lift on standard tyres always looks a little wacky hey

Looking forward to seeing the ML tub setup.

I couple more updates to add to the build up.

Hankook Dynapro ATMs 265/65 17.

Great tyre so far. A little on the soft side for extreme 4wding but great on road and nice and quiet! :D

Got a second hand ARB awning off a mate who fitted a roof top tent and had no space. Wasnt in the market for one but it is funny how easy it is to persuade yourself to spend money on your triton :?

I will get plenty of use out of it so it is a worthwhile investment. ;)

Next will be ML tub which is having some bar work made up then going to the painters! Canvas canopy here I come!

Hey guys a quick update.

Just picked up my tub from the fabricators and next it is off to the painters to get it colour coded!

The rail at the top is a shooting rest. I will make up a step that sits over the wheel arches so I can fit 3 blokes up there comfortably without having to squeeze between the arches. ;)

The fabricator mistakenly welded the angles down on the rail and he has now cut them and returned them parallel with the rail so you can shoot off the side on an angle. I will wrap that top bar in foam and make it a nice rest!

Once I get back from my trip I will hopefully have a painted tub and next I will go to the canvas place to wrap it up!.

The bash plates are defiantly going to make the car look great Reeldreamer! Again thanks for all of the organising. :D

The Hankooks are going good. So far have had them on sand and they were fine. No real hardcore 4wding on these tyres yet. They are going great on the road. Nice and quiet and pretty grippy in the wet also.

Headshok I will have a spare mn tub soon! its charcoal in colour but it will come with a genuine tub liner and soft top cover! :D :D

I will have more pics once I arrive back from my trip in early july!

Easy to install!

Im wrapped with it and it looks the part.
Have not had a chance to get out and test it's strength but from the looks of it, it will able to withstand a few knocks here and there :D

Tray is being painted so hopefully in a couple weeks I will be ready to whack it on!

I will update when I get my Tray.

Hey Matt,

I brought the tray to Stanford Enterprises in Wangara and we designed the bar work with the front bar and rear bars with shoulders for the canvas canopy.

It was a little pricey because I got them to add the shooting rack on the top but it will be worth it in the long run.

Well I have finally sorted out my tub.

Picked up the ML Tub from the painter and was wrapped with the job he did.

It took me approx 4 hours to swap the trays over. It was quite straight forward and the only thing that made it take longer was the fact that I have to swap all the plastic under guards over because the ML tub did not have them.

Here is a progress shot (Should of left the Triton like that.. Looks HOT

The shooting rest will be wrapped in rubber so it won't damage the timber stock on most of my mates rifles. ( I got synthetic). :)
I have the shoulders on the side ready for the canvas canopy which is going on Friday!

I will update when I have it done.

Thanks to ag9111 for the info on changing them over. (it was a while ago so you prob forgot) :D

Also thanks to Bill1 for putting me onto the used ML Tub.

Hey,

Yeah reeldreamer it is in three sections. 2 posts slot into the uprights behind the window then the actual rest sits ontop of the 2 posts. Very easy to take on and off which is great. Rattles a little but I will have to wrap them up in some tape or something or else I will scare all of the animals off.
