From memory the next install was a Ironman 125L Long range tank as the standard tank was no good for touring
A word of warning give the tank a good clean out. My tank which was sealed in a box come with a small amount metal filings in the tank :o  - There also no instruction sheet with the tank.

The tail shaft is only 2-3cm away from the tank..
I am yet to break a tailshaft in a 11sec Holden so i doubt the Triton would break one.
The Tank as you get it.

Ok for those of you that can not get up to the NT I will post a few pics up of Kakadu :P :P
A Park pass is $25 per person. Free if you a resident of the NT
Going to Kakadu resulted in requiring a new windscreen for me

1st we will head to Jim Jim Falls which is 60km off the highway to campground area then another 10km to Jim Jim
Along the Jim Jim road you come to a Y in the road - veer left to Jim Jim veer right to Twin Falls.
Getting to Jim Jim Falls involves driving on this - note newly cracked windscreen
The last 10km or so into Jim Jim falls is slow & a narrow track
Jim Jim Falls
To get to the end of the falls involves jumping, crawling over a few of these
up the end of Jim Jim Falls

Now Twin Falls - Another 10km from the Y in the road.
Requires driving across Jim Jim Creek which has crocodiles in it. I didn't see any I was watching the water lap the bonnet
This is a lot easier to get to the falls as you can get a boat ride that takes you about 1/2 way. Cost Approx $10
There is a walk bridge over the water as there has been crocodiles removed from these waters
When you get to the end - more crocodile traps - they are baited with pigs heads etc
Some more crawling over these
Gets you to twin falls.

Some pictures from Nourlangie rock

Sandy Billabong - bet you there are crocodiles in this water

This is Gunlom - this place is out of the movie Crocodile Dundee 1
You have to drive along more of this
Just starting to see the falls
& finally at the falls

I will wrap up with a sunset picture on my way home from Kakadu

Pm me if you are coming up, it would be good to catch up. I can show you around

Just an update haven't done any mods just touring around Darwin / surrounding area's.
Jumping Crocodiles - wouldn't want a croc like this trying to jump into the Tinny while fishing

A few weeks later it was decided to do the Reynolds River 4x4 Track in Litchfield National Park before it closed for the wet season :D - the track it self is 44km long but is a good day trip as you stop for swimming etc.
I was happy to see this sign as i have come here many times after reading road reports to actually find it was closed.

A picture of Blyth Homestead which is also the location of an old tin mine, which is now in ruins. The homestead site serves as a reminder of the tough conditions faced by pioneers in remote areas.

Tjaynera Falls at Sandy Creek - I think this is the best swimming spot on this track.
we had the falls to our self :D But it is a 1.8km walk one way from the car park through a dry river bed / around a mountain :?

The Reynolds river was very shallow as it was the end of the dry season, but soon becomes in passable in the wet so the track it closed. - you drive through this river.

A few highlights along the way

You end up at Surprise Creek Falls - as the water was not flowing it was not as good as Tjaynera falls.
But you enjoy a refreshing swim & the walk is only 600m from the carpark

the cat is only a memory now

Put the ERG blanking plate in yesterday - went for a 40km drive today & got 3 limps
the only issue is cruise control stops working for a while after the limp is cleared & this is what annoys me :|
