Cheers mate!

Doing some pre trip work.
Thought I'd post up this. First pic is my inlet manifold that has been blanked off since me buying the car. At that time I also fitted brand new inlet manifolds. Roughly 55000ks ago .Click to view larger picture as you can see , no carbon what so ever! Clean as a whistle my oil colour is also like new after 5k and last time I drained the oil at 15k interval the oil was the same as when it went in!

Here's a pic with the new tyres and wheels! Click to view larger picture

Hey mate interested in that snorkel, does it go straight into engine bay or travel along inner gaurd space then pop out next to air cleaner? Cheers

Love it troop, quick question. Do you find the light bar on the roof reflects of your mirrors?

Baito the snorkel travels in the gap between gaurd and inner gaurd and comes out at the airbox!

The lightbar has no reflection off mirrors at all! The only reflection is the UHF antennas :)

Yeah tjm snorkel, love it much better than the safari that takes up the whole gaurd and looks ugly as haha.
Here's a pic of the 8x 40mm led billet rocklights at night. Very happy with them!

Surprisingly a 34" spare fits underneath. JUST. So that's good don't have to carry it on the roof.
Also packing the spares ready for hi country today.
Brand new Repco Cvs as spares.
Front diff actuator
Engine oil. Brake fluid. Coolant. Gear oil and power steer fluid.
Various nuts bolts screws washers fuses . Cable ties etc
Map sensor.
Glow plugs

Should be right. Don't wana be stuck in middle of no where by myself with a dead car that's for sure..

Have also done a lot more to the car over the last few weeks. Will post pics etc up soon.

For anyone that might be interested I picked up my new project last night on the way home from Adelaide.

80 series cruiser.
Gq patrol diffs
6" lift
38" tyres on 10" rims
Front and rear winches in custom made winch bars
Sliders
Twin air lockers
Vx ss interior
Came with hid Xgt spotties brand new
4.5lt petrol. Extractors also on gas
Heaps of other mods.

Making this into a mud/ comp car to save the stress on the triton in the winter ( gets muddy as down here and some awesome tracks ) a mate has a cammed ls2 that may find its way in the engine bay also.

Bit of a update I guess haha.

Couple weeks ago I got approached by 4wd action about a photoshoot and a DVD segment in robe .. Was shocked.

So have been fairly busy. And with summernats just over and autofest comming up I've got 3 cars to prepare plus to jobs I have to complete for people . It's been crazy.

So far I have installed a arb fridge slide for my 40lt engel.
Removed all un nessassary wiring in tub and tidied up the remaining wiring.
Installed solar panels on the roof cage. Mounted controller on inside of the canopy for the panels.
Removed the led strip lights I had in the canopy and going to install a Cree led set up for better light and more reliable.

Re wired the engine bay. Tidied up the wiring and removed stuff that didn't need to be there. Also installed a under bonnet led alloy strip light.

Wired up 2 power sockets into the back of the centre console.
Twin USB charging socket in the factory position in console to charge the go pro and iPhone etc.

Anderson plug for the camper trailer also got thrown on also.

Here's some pics. Also thrown in a pic of my clubsport I've been working on for the last 6 or so years and my ford capri I've done a ground up rebuild on .

I have to finish my clubsport off over the year ready for summernats. Won't take much ..
The capri is just a cruiser for now.

Probably sell my vs 5lt 5speed burnout car soon and put the money into my Torana hatchback as a burnout car :) have a ls1 motor that needs some love so will probably put that in it and let the mrs have some fun in it

That's the plan anyway. Hahaha
