Yeah that's what I meant - since the old one had a vent, then we might rightly assume the replacement bottle would need one too. Just odd that they didn't manufacture it into the replacement bottle.

Either laziness or they were giving you the choice?

Can anyone tell me if it is normal to have that bit of the snorkel visible from the outside?
Perhaps I didn't fit the snorkel properly?
I've had it on for a few months and no issues, just more of an aesthetic one.
First photo is a reference as to where I'm looking at, and the second one indicating what I'm talking about.

Cheers!

How does it hug at the front? See pic1, is it tight-ish there?

I dont think mine poked out but like i think i mentioned before, i just neatened it up with a dribble of the sensor safe sealant i used for the install.
P.s. the gap on my bonnet to the fender looks bad but its just the photo... I hopeClick to view larger pictureClick to view larger picture

Hm I think yours looks pretty similar in terms of how much of that bottom bit is visible from the outside. I just haven't seen another Triton up close to compare. It's fairly tight at the front and hugs the car pretty closely.
I was just curious to see if it was only me where that bit where the hose connects to is visible. I'm guessing it's normal?
