I guess that is the price you pay for them being rated.

Interestingly they use the term "tow point" a number of time through their write up.

Dropped them a message, still not available until July regardless of the June delivery date on the ebay ad. Also can't tell me if they fit with the nudge bar

Sent the ebay guys a message regarding their recovery points. Got the following in reply:

Your previous message:
Hey guys
Few q's on these, if you would
Do they replace the original tow/tie down points?
Are any holes needing to be drilled? Anything required other than a straight, easy "bolt on"?
Will they fit on a chassis with an ARB Safari bullbar fitted?
Cheers, and thanks for the response.

Reply:
No new holes are required to drill, they are tested and to suit with arb bullbars, comes with all mounting bolts and hardware

Can anyone confirm whether these might absolutely be a "no drill" option? Not keen on drilling into my chassis, and the pic shows three holes, one under, although may be a stock pic off something else.

Equally, if enough on here were interested, I wonder if the manufacturer would be up for a bulk, direct buy as a group buy?

I haven't check but pretty sure the original tie down and tow points are welded on so these won't replace them.

Also they will need drilling. There's only one hole they could use on the side and none underneath the rail.

Is anyone using these: http://www.toughtoys.com.au/products/195/

It is hard to find recovery point similar to those which Dino has put on at a reasonably price, and they are not rated anyway.

for under $25 each and they are rated to 4500kg. An equaliser strap on both. Could this be a good option and worth pursuing?

Yeah, visited their website etc. They look really good and the price is okay too.

I still wonder if the mean mother tow hooks will do the job just fine??

I have the tow hooks on the sides of my xrox bar. Have been winched, and snatched off both hooks at different times. No issues so far.

The yellow ones on fleabay will probably end up on mine as well.

Well seeing as those pictures are one of the very few sets. Who would have fitted a set yet? When asked the guy at the shop stated he suspected they would. Until he fitted a set he would not be 100% on them fitting. When asked about ARB bars he gave the same answer.
Going from what Roadsafe has advised yes until I get my hands On a set and install them which will later this week I won't know for sure will update when I can be 100% sure

You can find pictures of the ones from WA fitted to various Tritons. They look to be the same shape.
