i chose the ironman for mine recently because of a couple reasons. ive delt with the brand before and always had a good experience and i also think its a nicer looking bar.

i cannot comment on MCCs quality as ive never had anything to do with them but im more then happy with my ironman deluxe bar (a frame with the fog lights)

I have an MCC rocker bar and love it. Protected my front end well in a crash.

I'd be surprised if there's much difference between the two of them to be honest. Pretty sure there's some photos of the MCC unit after someone installed one but it was a long time ago now so would take some searching to find.

Here's a thread on the commercial bar which is similar other than foggies IIRC?

http://www.newtriton.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=916

Then there's this thread which is all about bullbars http://www.newtriton.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=4742

If you search within that thread for ironman as I just did, you won't find too many photos. What you will find though is some old commentary by someone who found photos on the MCC website advertising their version of the bullbar where they had in fact used a forum member's photos of his Triton with an ironman bar to advertise the MCC product. This is less surprising when you hear it said that MCC used to make Ironman's bars for them.

There used to be an ebay seller that had a lot of listings for the ironman deluxe bar but they're not there now. Having said that I am 99% sure it was these blokes and they still have a couple of photos on their site showing the bar on a Triton: http://www.4x4accessorystore.com.au/html/s13_shopping/view_product.asp?keyword=Ironman-Deluxe-Steel-Bull-Bar

Here's a couple of pics of the standard MCC bullbar on mine. Installed about 3 weeks ago. Nice and sturdy without being too heavy. The LED lights are excellent and there's space for foggies or small spotties, plenty of room for the winch, Jack points, 2x aerial mount points, etc. I preferred the look over the Ironman a little. Nice feature is the 2 poly bumpers out front.

Hey you guys!

OP asked for feedback on A frame style bars. Now, in my book, an A frame bar looks like this:

Curiously, MCC have one, but Ironman do not appear to.

Perhaps, before too many people make irrelevant posts, Grosit, you could enlighten us on exactly what style of bar you're seeking information on?

I doubt it.

So far you've had responses about bars that look like this:

and this:

plus one that we don't know and another which has referred you to a general bull bar thread and an Ironman installation thread.

Now, in order to help you further I wasted some time and it would seem that maybe what you are talking about is the design of the centre posts which come in either a triangular fabricated style or tubular. If this is the case then perhaps you could help yourself get more responses by being a little less obtuse and clarifying exactly what it is that you are seeking information on. 8 replies from 294 views so far isn't exactly a good result.

I figured he meant that triangle bit so that was what my posts were directed to.

Did you end up deciding what bar to put on? Between MCC and Ironman?

I'm in this exact Sam position at the moment.

me too, I think I'm going to.go with ironman only because I think there are more dealers Australia wide if something goes wrong. I'm getting bullbar, sidebars and side steps along with a winch. It's very close though between them and mcc. I did try to give opposite lock my money but it seemed they didn't want a sale
