mcc rear jack bar install

Hey guys looking at ordering the mcc rear jack bar for my Mn next week and just wondering if anyone has any install tips or instructions for me

Only tip I can give is use extra washers to give as much clearance to the tailgate as possible. . I left it a bit to close, and after a firm hit it shifted up without me noticing. The next time I lowered the tailgate I was left with Jack bar shaped scratches
