Grille retaining clips

Postby dieselweasel on Mon Jul 27, 2015 8:45 pm

Hello,

Need to fit some stuff on the old girl (not my wife) when I get some time. Front bumper and grille will probably come off for this but I know I'll break most of the pins and flared screw things in the process. Are these little black plastic things a particular size or shape that can be bought at your generic auto shop?
Cheers

I bought these ones for the 4 spots on the top of the grille - yes they're from Toyotas but they seem more durable than the mitsubishi ones.

If you're careful the original ones should come out okay. Mine only broke because I've had them in and out way too many times and they're all 6 years old now.

They definitely look a bit more robust than the mitsi ones, can't complain about the price too, I have to get over my eBay fear at some point, this will be a good place to start

Pretty hard to go wrong at that price. If you pay by paypal you should be able to do a one off credit card payment if memory serves. And paypal is pretty safe in my experience. Just be aware that it can be addictive...

If you were a bit closer I'd offer you half of the 10 I bought but it would cost me more to post them to you in WA than it would for you to buy those ones on ebay.

That's what I'm worried about! An eBay id is one step closer to a whole lot of trouble!
