Standard bullbar help

Postby mnbrodie on Sun Nov 15, 2020 5:55 pm

Hey I just picked up a cheap standard black bull bar for my mn triton. I thought it was was a straight forward bumper replacement but I was wrong those anyone have any info on how to cut the bumper to suit or should I just take it to a 4wd shop to have it fitted? Thanks

Best way is to get a couple of helpers to hold bar up in correct position. Then mark out in crayon on the bumper where it will still show. then remove bumper and cut out the rest, except for around bumper mounting points, say a couple of inches for safety.

Important that no bumper is visible through large air intake at front, to maximise airflow

Have a look at some already fitted, and take photos for reference

Thank you I might ring up a few 4wd shops and see how much they will charge to fit it
