Cheezy Racing rock sliders

Postby slatstaks on Tue Apr 14, 2009 4:06 pm

Had some interest in the rock sliders on my ute after posting my car a few weeks ago. have loaded a few new photos onto my shed for you guys to look at, they are a good alternative to steps. They are still available and cost around 1000.00 fitted. Hope you find them interesting.

Thanks for taking the effort to take the photos and post them up.

Also thanks for posting up a price- did it include colour coding?

Thanks Slats, they look the best I've seen so far because of the slide bar. Mounting points nice and strong?

They claim you can high lift jack off them. they weld a tapped bracket to the chassis then bolt them to that, so they are also easily removable.

That puts them in the too hard basket for a do it yourself fitting- welding to the chassis, did they fit a mod plate?
I'm keen on sliders (weekend of carnage) but need to get them to Brisbane.

Might be worth a chat to bobp re the welding mate if you're keen on them.

My problem is I'm starting to get 'the look' from the leader of the opposition when I start to mention more spend on the car.
