That was the wife this morning- maybe the insurance can repaint the bar.
Likes no problem to the ARB bar that a lick of paint wont fix.
ARB Bar colour coded to the same as the ML flares.
Airflow hasn't been a problem for me- but I did choose smaller driving lights.
Will be interesting in the engine temps come Dec- planning a 15,000km trip towing the van from Brisbane to Perth - going accross central NSW (Darling River Run and Mungo NP)

slimjim wrote:new44, i paid $2050 for ARB steel deluxe winch bar including foglights, colour matching and installation in the Clare Valley S.A. a couple of weeks ago. Colour matching cost $220.00 so $1880.00 for black.
hope this helps
new44 wrote:Bump,
What is the current good price for an ARB deluxe black bull bar with out fog lights?
Fitting costs?
I think I will order one shortly...
cheers

I would happily have paid $1476 3 weeks ago. Thats $190 cheaper than Albury.
I was lucky to win that brand new ARB bar off ebay recently for $1350.(no Fog)
It came from Warnambool ARB Boat shop.
I fitted the bar last weekend. The ARB stuff is a work of art.
It did take lots of time to complete properly, with lots of helping (interruptions) from the kids as well.
The brackets and steel work fit together almost perfectly. Give us a pm if your unsure about anything with the install.
I was feeling my through the instructions a bit. They are not as good as the product.
The Snorkel instructions I found were better, although the snorkel may have taken longer to install.
I am trying to decide (find the money) on suspension. ARB or Pedders, I would go Ultimate if it was easy ( no dealers nearby).
I am also keen on throwing a TJM winch in there before the suspension upgrade.
I am not sure if they will slot straight into the ARB bar easy.
Have you priced any suspension out of that Shep. ARB dealer?
snowman wrote:mate the recent 4X4 action listed the actual drops based on bar type (for a hilux i think) and showed all the weights.
do you have a copy of that mag?
PM me and i may be able to help you.....
NaffX214 wrote:Arrrrgggh too many decisions. I got a decent bonus at work - so I'm treating myself to a bar... and probably a snorkel.
Gunmetal Triton -
Black ARB deluxe bar (costs less)
OR
Gunmetal Ironman deluxe bar
OR
Flare colour coded Ironman deluxe bar
I have black steps - that could be colour coded however I want further down the track.
