/Nice I`m looking forward to see what you do as a rear bar I`m in the process of getting a custom rear bar done at the moment/

i'm still trying to decide what to do-rear bar wise. i've got plenty of 3" stainless (some with the logo in it) so i'm thinking either 3" round bumperettes, or going something heavy duty RHS (powdercoated to suit the ironman stuff) with reco and high-lift points/integrated step etc

dunno yet

Stainless Steel isn't cheap! ;)
Spent most of my money on booze, women, guns, utes, motorcycles, fishing & boats.

I wasted the rest!

316 S/S isn't cheap. 304 is cheaper.

I hate to be negative especially with something that looks so good but wouldn't they work better as steps if you had them hang out from the body a little further? My boot would slip straight off of those :?

I think they look great!

They are good compromise distance from the side of the body. I hate those wide side steps that you scrape the back of your leg on every time you get in and out of the ute.
Thats why I ditched the factory steps on my ute.

beaker- if i end up polishing them, thats 'all' i'll ending up doing. when i bought it, i asked my son 'so you like dad's new car?'- he screamed at me 'its not a car, its a truck,,, and its pretty!' hence i'm trying to ditch the 'pretty' bit
;)

i said earlier on mine worked out to be $1050. if your running more sets (say about 3) i reckon they'd come down to about $800, reason being, it's takes me about a day to run up 1 set and about 2 hours more would have 3 or 4 sets done- i spend as much time, if not more time setting up/marking out etc than actually building them.
