Hazzard Engineering Rock Sliders

Postby King Triton on Tue Aug 12, 2008 6:11 am

I am very interested.

Just wondering if he has made them up for an ML before and how high they will sit (any loss in ground clearance) and how he is mounting them.

I think before everyone goes and jumps in and buys some it would be good to know what you are getting,
Don't forget if there is 10-15 sets being made thats
$4500-$6750 in one order.

Don't get me wrong I know he does good work everyone gives him a good wrap and i don't doubt that its just good to know exactly what your getting.

JOP

Maybe since your the contact and he will need a car to measure from to make a template he could do that and than add some pics.

Don't want to ruffle any feathers its just a thought.

Good idea King, as i was thinking the same thing, why spend all this money if they are going to be a replica of the dodgy side steps! I wouldnt mind them being a step aswel and sliders, atleast give me something to stand on ;) 8-)

Guys I just came back from my suspension installer & he knows a guy here in Hoxton Park, Sydney, that can do them for $650-00 fitted I am told.

As I need these fairly soon I will check out his work & let you all know what I think. Hopefully with pictures.

I've been quiet on this for a while but just wanted to bump it to the top and see if anyone had had any luck?

Guys the person I know that does this wants to know how many different models,eg; Single Cab, Extra Cab,
Dual Cab,Tray back, Manual or auto and year/Model.

Once I give him firm numbers he will consider talking business on the price. So please reply with the above info which I can pass on.

If this ones a no go I'm just going to bite the bullet and get them done locally, it'll cost more but at least they'll be on

OK so as I see the list so far is
1. Tritonstu
2. Greedy
3. King Triton
4. Sapient
5. Austblue
6. Subiman
7. GLX_R Silver
8. GFM_69
9. Scubapro

Is this correct as I can then pass the info on to the builder to talk turkey.

To make things easy for yourself and the bloke your going to get to build them
I think there should be one style and then if he is keen with or with out infills and they should all be raw.
as this makes things a hell of a lot easier and then everyone can organise own painting/powdercoating and colour.
