Has anyone successfully purchased one of these plug in units yet?

A loss of 4psi and I can feel it.
I'd hazard a guess that since the resistor is on the air temp sensor the ECU purposely limits boost when the air temp is high to prevent engine damage, and it would assume the air temp is always high.

Interested to see this Tony mod if it's ever released. I doubt a plate with a hole in it is as effective as a complete block, and I'm curious to know whether the EGR flow is a requirement to get the DPF working correctly.

I received an email reply a few weeks ago stating that it isn't in production yet and there would be an announcement when it was available.

I haven't fitted an EGR blank but I've looked a few that are available on eBay. I've noticed they're all quite thick compared to the original gasket on the EGR. It would seem that if the blank is too thick it would cause alignment issues with the EGR pipe and not seal 100%?

Which EGR plates have people been using? Was it of similar thickness to the gasket? Did you leave the original gasket in or remove it?

I pulled the gasket out n made a stainless copy out of it and put that in as the replacement, pretty much the same thickness, ran one on my old MN for 70k's n never had any prob's and no prob's with the MQ either

I have a ERG plate with a hole no fault codes or issues, all good. Are there any MQ drivers out there who are running a full blank plate?(no hole) If so how long before it put up a fault code? and from what hear they don't go into limp mode. I had a Ranger that would put P401 with a full EGR blank plate in, what I found is if the air intake senor #2 went above 50c the fault would clear. This sensor was located where the intake and the EGR gases would meet at the manifold. Placed a resistor to tell the ECU the temp was above 55c no more P401. There must be a way ECU detects EGR flow on the MQ's and I see there is a EGR temp sensor which in the manual has resistance to temp chart. Is this the way they detect flow ? and I wonder if a resistor across the plug would stop the fault code

The EGR plate I got off EBay is 1.5mm thick and have seen them advertised up to 2mm thick. It appears to seal OK but i don't over tighten the bolts due to the pipe being cast not wanting to crack it. Going to find some thin stainless and make a copy

I run a no hole EGR blanking plate for the last 6 months, basically from new.

Coasting down hills with no throttle will induce a CEL. Clear able with the scan gauge.

Your fault codes are probably from exceeding a certain vacuum level in the inlet manifold.

A solid blank after the egr cooler (offers protection against anything, inc water coming down this path) and electronic defeat of the egr offers the best solution. Also stops wear and tear on the egr unit.

Then a catch can to complete the package. :)

I would of thought it would fault code P401 no EGR flow

Where the EGR pipe meets the intake manifold, i left the gasket out and there was no leaks.

The question is " is this the module that Tony is going to produce at some stage" ? It has to be different for the MQ

Received the module today from chip tuning, thanks to Robert. Will try to install sometime soon.
Too bad I don't own a scanner to monitor so not sure what to expect.
