Dual Cab MQ Triton - Cargo Net

Postby adamh_707 on Sat Apr 09, 2016 3:07 pm

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has a link to a decent cargo net for the MQ Triton. I notice the soft tonneau has flat clips that would suit a cargo net, but have searched Google and can't find anything similar.

What are people using?

Gorilla cargo nets seem to be popular on utes around Brissy.

Cargo nets would turn the tub into a nice self self - peruse before pinching stuff.

Had to laugh LST week, a guy had a net (6" grid) over his 6x4 trailer to keep his load of 50mm pebbles secure!

More seriously, have you thought of checking out a chandlery? All sorts of nets used in yachting.

No I havnt but will.

The net isn't a permanent option, I have a soft tonneau but don't want to have to take that camping with me. A net is easier.

However there are little clips on the tonneau that would suit a cargo net nicely if I could find one with them.

Cheers

I've been having trouble finding something to suit a styleside tub also, most of the nets I've found are sized to suit the bigger traybacks or trailers and the fixing methods (hooks, loops, etc) don't really work with the styleside.

Hadn't really thought about checking out a chandlery, should be able to get some netting and cut to size.
