Electrical fault

On about 5 or 6 occasions, when I press up on the drivers window to go up automatically, the window goes up then drops down to half open. I can press up again and does the same.

On 2 occasions after a few attempts to get the window up, the automatic function stops entirely and the I have to hold the button up or down. Both times mitsi has fixed it.

Does anyone know how to fix my electric window myself? Why it's happening? Can I prevent it happening?
