Did you guys buy the extras with your new Ute?

So I just bought a MY17 GLX+ Dual Cab Auto.

When I went into the dealership today and got offered a bunch of extras like:

Shiny paint protection
Tinted windows
Interior fabric protection
Upholstery protection
Premium warranty and roadside assist
And so on

Did you guys end up getting any of this stuff?

If you didn't get all that thrown in, you didn't haggle hard enough!!
Mine came with, mats (rubber and carpet) tow bar, bonnet shield, window shields, window tinting, seat covers, they fitted the bull bar (and powder coated it to match the tray) fitted the tray, they even fitted and wired up my spotties!! (I supplied)
plus 5 year warranty and road side service.(there is something about reducing there fixed price services now???)
Fabric and paint came standard with the exceed! Oh and a free car wash and a coffee when ever I am going past, and a loan car while mine is being serviced.
I'm happy with my dealer!

None of the above. Paint protection can provide the dealer an out if you end up with paint problems, tint can be done much cheaper aftermarket, some dealers offer 'complementary' road side assistance with servicing.

Because this is my first new car I haggled hard but the dealer screwed me in a way where they only offered all this stuff after I put my deposit in. To be honest I didn't even know about paint protection and crap otherwise I definitely would've haggled for them! Regardless I got a great deal on the car anyway with a bunch of accessories

The worst thing is still to come........... Hanging around here, and seeing what everyone else is spending there dollars on, is going to cost you dearly!!

The deal is not done untill its done I dont think you really missed out on much, the price & trade is the most mportant thing the rest is there to muddy the waters ( value add ) where the percieved value is low actual cost. Tinted windows would be nice, but the rest is so so, I am sure if you wanted to take some time "cooling off period" they would do the tiniting for you

The only we get now is window tint. All that other crap they can keep.
