They are not too hard, I fitted a light bar, 2 spotties & an on/off switch and it only took me a couple of hours & I had never touched a negative switched vehicle before.
I used a generic Supercheap wiring harness that had weird coloured wires & it was set-up for a positive switched vehicle. So I read up on it on this forum & a few other places first & then just swapped a couple of wires & did it how I thought it should go and it worked.
But if you haven't got the time or you don't feel comfortable doing some trial and error work, then by all means go to a sparkie.
But even if it takes U half a day or longer then that's OK too. It's not a race & it's good to know how to do it.
