Spot lights covering the grill

Postby jrad on Tue Oct 27, 2020 11:53 am

I want to put a 9inch set of Spot lights on my nudge bar. They just stick over the bonnet which helps me find the front of the car when parking. They seem to cover a fair amount of the grill area and I am concerned with the air flow into the radiator. Has anyone done this and noticed any change in temp at all. I tried using the search bar but could only find info for the ml and mn. Thanks.

MQ tritons do suffer with poor airflow through the engine bay when lights, bullbars and winches are fitted.

This is a major contributing factor to cracked manifolds, as when the car is doing a DPF regen the airflow is not enough to control the temperature, and the very high DPF temperature seeps back towards the turbo and manifold
