Problem I found with a 5 cyl is you get charged for 6 cyl rego... in QLD anyway.

Must be years behind in Qld! Still got variable regos?

In good ole Vic my daughter's little Alto pays the same rego as the son's xj jeep, that's really encouraging the purchase of economic cars.

I know it looks just like everything else these days but, I agree, sweet.

Makes the MQ look really dated.

You can see where the style was always going, but they had to make a 'bridge' from the previous model.

All the front and back ends are getting far too 'busy' with everyone seeming to be in a competition with how many kinks and infills they can fit in a space.

Will make it challenging for the accessory manufacturers.

Don't like it myself, doesn't really matter anyway as next ride will be a Ranger.

It could grow on me though ;)

Can't believe that Mitsubishi have done another model without asking for my suggestions. 1) removable front so no cut bullbar install. Attractive to diy, third party manufacturer and installers. 2) attractive vents on the front qtr panels. Of course the drivers side would nicely line up with air box to facilitate easy snorkel install. Cheaper installs must be attractive to bulk buyers as well as 4wd folk. Be more attractive to me than chrome!

they mentioned at the launch that the development of the MQ triton was started before the "Dynamic Shield" front became the face of Mitsubishi

that was their story, at the time

lots wondered about the styling

be interesting to see if this becomes a reality, reckon it might be a year or so away myself, sort of like the ML, MN time frame

be real interesting if they include the 8 speed auto from the Pajero Sport ;) 8-)

Agreed.

They have pumped out the front and lost the flares. Pity the tub didn't get the same treatment.
