Been on the forum for a little bit now but thought i'd start up a little build thread as i'm slowly but surely making progress with my MQ GLS. Purchased new in November and it's just shy of it's 15,000km service. I work in the agribusiness sector and spend a fair bit of time on farms, so it's been great for work and reignited the 4x4 spark.
So far i've taken it down to Little Dip Conservation Park south of Robe and it performed really well. I've fully got the itch again after watching some of the 4WD Action Youtube episodes.
Since buying i've done the following (mostly aesthetic):
- 265/65r17 Nitto Terra Grapplers G2
- Provent catch can
- Bossco nudge bar
- 21" Stedi light bar
- Rhino racks
- 2x2.5m awning
- Rubber floor mats
- Blackline sports bar
Future plans are:
- Suspension
- Black duck seat cover (driver only)
- Rear bar (I stupidly didn't get a towbar fitted with purchase, and got quoted $1,300 from Mitsubishi, $600 for a TAG,
and am thinking maybe just spend around $1,000 and get either and Ironman or Rock Armor bar)
- Maybe bull bar
- 265/70r17 or 265/75r16 for the next set
