Cheers mate. Starting to get a few mods done now and I'm pleased how it's staring to look. I love how it drives and my fuel bill is way better then my FJ cruiser was.

I like the classic "abandoned trolley" in second from last pic. But jokes aside, that's a real nice colour triton.

What was your opinion of the fj cruiser? Was the fuel economy that bad?

I loved the FJ. I did the gibb river rd in it last year and it performed great. I do miss it. They are petrol and take 95 unleaded. Now I am towing a caravan, it made sense to sell the FJ for a diesel vehicle. Cheaper fuel bill and good torque. I have also moved location for work so I use my car rather than public transport and its a 40 minute run one way. The FJ was heavily modified and I was getting around 16l per 100km. It just made sense to move it on.

That's one of the better bar to vehicle matches I've seen - looks great.

I had a look at a FJ when they came out and found theres just too much metal.

New ARB classic canopy fitted. Did it myself. Pleased with it. Couldn't afford to wait for the new arb ascent plus the extra cost of about 800 to a 1000 bucks.

Suspension really is a lot better on normal roads. The truck feels a lot more stable, better handling and no more rattling out of your teeths fillings.

Ultimate do a kit based on your vehicle measurements/heights and intentions of use. They are vehicle specific kits. Best contact them for a quote. They do a discount for forum membership. Free assembled front shocks and coil over Springs.

Looks great, what size AT tyre do you use? Also thinking of ARB canopy, any more pics you could post?

I'm looking at the ARB Summit bar for my MQ. How tricky was the self install?

Hey Sandstorm. How do find the Bridgestone ATs? Quiet tyres?

Hello from England. I have the same model and colour as you but way behind! Managed to get Safari Snorkel sent to UK docking in a few weeks. That's a great front bar - what make / manufacturer is that? It's a great fit. Looked at TJM but too big for British roads where stupid pedestrians are my only issue.
