Yep, went to 4wd Supercentre showroom in Sydney to get a couple things .... walked out with the back of the Triton loaded and $1,800 lighter in the pocket.

Haven't wired up the lights yet, just have them mounted ready for a day of electrics work. Have a dual battery system to get fitted, electric brake controller and anderson plug to fit as well.

Also have an awning to fit.

Just waiting on my Drifta drawers to be built then all the other bits and pieces will be finished off.

Just got my draw system fitted from Drifta at Gloucester NSW. Pretty happy with the fit and finish of the unit. Also got an auxiliary battery, bcdc Redarc charger, Baintech battery monitor/power outlet, built in 55 litre water tank, Redarc electric brake controller and anderson plug for the camper trailer. Gonna give it all a good test when we drag the camper trailer up to Fraser Island in a couple months.

The slide out bench also doubles as a camp table. Comes out and has fold out legs.

Was a pretty expensive unit with all the electrics and fitting, but lets hope it was money well spent.

No, haven't got to the tailgate seal as yet. I have heard the ML and MN came with a factory seal kit option, not sure about MQ yet. I have had a look and think about seal options and I reckon you could use some rubber strip or lengths of door seal to make the tailgate mostly dust/water proof. But to be honest, a bit of dust isn't a major issue and with the MQs wading depth of 50-60cm and the need for raised diff and gearbox breathers, deep water crossings are unlikely anyway.

Some new pics of Black Betty. First one is waiting at Inskip Point for the barge to Fraser Island. Camper weighs 1,100kg dry, loaded as picture shows would be around 1,400kg and the Triton would be carrying about 600kg over standard tare weight.
