Jack’s MQ

Hey everyone,
I’ve been tossing up for a while now whether or not to out this post up, but I thought why not show everyone my car and what I have to offer.

I bought my MQ back in July this year and so far have put 11k on the clock, I’m currently planning to drive to the east coast from the NT over the Christmas holidays and most likely double this and find some cool off road locations to camp and test out the cars capabilities.

So far I have added to the car, (most of my gear was supplied by Ironman)
A bullbar
Rear protection and tow bar
Upgrade 40mm lift suspension
Extended range fuel tank
Safari snorkel
Winch
Catch can
Secondary fuel filter/water separator
And UHF radio

Some things I plan to get in the not so distant future,
Side steps and rails.
More extensive under body protection to cover the fuel tank and other bits.
New wheels and tyres, probably a set of coopers ST MAXX’s.
New exhaust system.
A dual battery (eventually, not very high in the priotry list).
A tub rack to mount a spare wheel, maxx tracks and other recovery gear.

I’m open to other people’s ideas of accessories to add, i haven’t forgotten roof racks, I just feel I don’t need them at the moment and would rather not have them.

Here is a few photos of my car, since I took the photos I have installed the winch so it’s not in the shot.
The last photo I upload was of my UHF install which I wanted to show people’s I actually ordered a blank for a 200 series land cruiser and hoped it fit which it did. The entire uhf is behind the glove box and I just have this connector so I can disconnect the handset and stow it away when not in use around town and what not.

Welcome mate!
I feel the same about roof racks. Added fuel consumption but having awning is much easier than having to find tie down points for tarp.

Your pictures don't seem to be working?

Look forward to seeing some pics of your trip.

Hi mate, if you download the Tapatalk app for your phone, it makes forum use and reading quite a simple thing... Almost like texting. Theres a photo adding option on there which is similar to adding a photo to an sms.
