Postby stefanos on Mon Sep 20, 2010 3:09 pm

Hi all!!!
Here,I'll show you a few modifications, I've done to my Triton.

This was the the first place of my winch, but I don't like it,too much down and dangerous for my car.

So,I desided to install it to another place.I made a new plate with 6mm and 8mm steel

New wires, and I made a new control box for the solenoid and the general switch of the winch.

What a good looking bit of work mate 8-) there's some talent.
I hate to advocate drugs, sex, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they’ve always worked for me.

Today I deside to install the new shock absorbers on my Triton

At first it was like this.35 mm strut spacer........

The OE Mits........and the new(you can see the difference!)

.........on my car.I take out the spacer, and now I have 1-1,2cm height (I had lost about 7-8mm with the winch weight)

Tomorrow,I'll install and the rear, because today it was raining too much, and the half car was outside

Diablo............I hate the metal bull bars or bumpers:evil:  too much weight for nothing. My next project is a fiber glass or carbon bumper..............but not now!!!!

Sam........the shocks are Amada extreme with extra subtank, especially for Tritons. The front are height adjustable.I don't have install the rear yet.If I'll install them,I'll post pics.

That's about as far as I got with a stabilizer and then started to loose interest due to the prob with our
ute  but figured hooking it onto the steering rack wasn't going to be easy at all . :?

stefanos, I contacted Lin Lee and will be getting a set of the shocks soon.

Like to find out from you if you have the dimension of the bash plate set. My Thai-made bash plate is giving up and I'm looking to get a custom set done and your new set looks lovely!!

Can I also check with you, on the pic showing your rear shocks, what are the wiring for the connectors hanging above the rear diff for? My triton have 3 connectors there that is not hooked up and like to know what to do with it..
