Hey joe maybe you can get some ideas here www.carpasanaconda.com
I've seen your a/c unit before it's a beauty But this pic is awesome I reckon...rafting the Tri down the river

The rafting experience was a little bit scary because the ¨raft¨ made of steel was so rusted and it has so many holes that the guys who manage it, has a motor bilge pump to mantain it dry, so if the pump failed there wouldn´t be enough time to reach the border. jajajaja but it was really cool, i mean the adrenaline! :D

Custom made twin Bash plate. The front one goes from the bull bar to the crossmenber behind the control arm and the rear bash plate goes from these point to the crossmenber at transfer tail. 6mm alloy. ;)

But as you can see 6mm are not enough when you have a crappy ome springs (after these trip i´d to put the bash plate again at the sheet bend machine to repair the damage) ;)

I love my Warm xp. Always used with no mercy and is perfect but the best is the MOSFET control (trouble free, no solenoids fuc.... when you must need it)

When there´s no tree around to secure the winch.... the best friend is a sharp 80 series rear axle shaft and a big hammer:

Valerio, are you better off placing the rear one on first so it laps above the front plate and then it wont catch things.... :? :?:
This car is like a bad drug habit. It is taking all my money and time, my family are concerned, but new mods just feel sooooooo good.

You´re right Snowman, in fact after that trip i modified the rear bash plate, made it shorter so now the rear is bolted not over or below the front, is at the same level, to prevent the damage suffered here. :)

Love the pics, i'd be interested in seeing your rear racks that support the tent if you have any.

Hey Sloth. Here som pics of the rear rack
It has lamps and rear spots with switchs in the rack and a 12v outlet for the fridge. Note the maxtrax supports with a butterfly nut to hold it. The tent is attached to the superior bars. You can't see the tent installed there because i've not been use the support since installed the ARB canopy

With maxtrax installed

The rack is sitted directly to the tub floor to prevent damages at the tub fenders, and holded by 4 tensioners, also it's 2 foldable hooks at front to secure 4 jerry cans

Also the rack has 2 antennas supportsClick to view larger picture

Well..... these is the a/c support that you connect to the tent when you're going to use the a/c Click to view larger picture
and these is the base attached to the tent
After the support is fitted to the base you have these and them put the a/c unit above. Sorry i couldn't take pics with the tent opened and a/c at the support, but you can see it at the previous picsClick to view larger picture

Another mod after a trip where i almost damage the waeco fridge with mud at the tub, when arrived to my factory i took of the rear seat, made a plattform in order to get more inside cargo space to load the fridge and bags over the plattform and bags and other stuff under the plattform, besides my daughter recaro seat (the recaro seat is secured by the original 3 points latch system with 3 cargo hooks that i used at the truck bodies, and a angled base with bolts-in rubbers, the same i used to secure the roof tent) :D
Click to view larger picturealso you can see the 12v double socket to connect the fridge and other stuff and a hella flex maplamp. the fridge is secured by a strap whith a galvanized tensioner attached to the plattform ;)

nice work Valerio, although if the local Mr Plod pulled you up and looked over your shoulder at your child sitting in that rear seat, you would end up in the slammer and an impromptu visit from child welfare

keep the pics coming mate, thats a beaut spot youve got over there
