hi all,now ive worked out how to post pics on here i thought id share my ML with you this is how it looked when i got it(i didnt get a opic of it with the ht's on it ) after a bit of saving the bar and snorkle were next with the bash plates oll in one hit it was a big couple of days in the shed
all most for got the first mod was the stickers after a bit of a break in the mod department due to growing family and working away i have been able to get back up the shed and do some fabricating new rear bar,new steps and modified my old rack i made off the 60 i had
Great stuff Tezza I love the way you can cut holes in the guard of your Triton to install a snorkel but only now learn how to post pics That rear bar is a masterpiece. It blends in that well i had to have a closer look.........wish i could weld
THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A MAN AND A BOY IS THE PRICE OF HIS TOYS
thought i would put some more pics of mods also started mounting the second battery also fitted some fog lights after i found out on here that the vr has all the wiring as standard just need the indicator stalk and a fuse and away we go
my rod is out at the old mans at the moment while we sort out the tub and radiator Quinny but hope to have it home soon so i can keep going on it 61rth it should be a bit of fun to drive it wheighs f#*kall and has a 351 and a detroit locked 9"
im going to try and get there for the day on saturday for a few beers my second little girl was only born on thursday so an over nighter might not be a good thing to lay on the wife
did you happen to have any pics of the Xrox bar from the mounting side, interested to see the back side of it. Considering making a copy as the cost of freight to NZ makes it the same price as an ARB one, but the Xrox looks better.
the old man rang me to say he got a winch real cheap so come get it! Ok out i go and find a Ridge Ryder 12000lb with plasma rope! time to fit
found the fair lead fouled on the bottom bolts of the winch so out with the flap disc to mod
once it was all bolted in it was time for the control box, what a pain in the ass to get the leads on , found with the position i had to run the box my IPF's don't fit any more ,but on the upside it means i will need an LED light bar to fit above the box
ok, its been a bit slow on the mod front of late but with a trip to frasier booked for christmas i thought i best pull my finger out and make it bit more camping ready so after a bit of saving (and begging ) i was able to get my canopy done very happy with the end result also modifyed my old roof rack (for the 3rd time ) so now i have space for all the kids snot..........um toys
